Brick Scholars is a mobile STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Math) lab providing educational, creative, and innovative learning opportunities for children to brick and learn.
Brick Scholars’ STEAM focused curriculum provides engaging, creative and fun educational programs and professional development using LEGO® Education products. Our programs are facilitated by a certified LEGO® Education Academy trainer and North Carolina educator with a BA in Special and Elementary Education and a MA in Creative Writing. Brick Scholars' classes are designed using Best Practices teaching and learning methods. Each class uses a standards based curriculum and integrates research-based and brain-based educational theory, including LEGO® Education pedagogy and Constructivism Educational Theory. Creativity and fun are the focus; learning is the outcome.

Megan Oteri is a certified LEGO® Education Academy trainer and North Carolina educator with certification in Special Education K-12, Elementary K-6, and Language Arts 6 - 12. Megan is a teaching artist for the United Arts Council, Durham Arts Council, The ArtsCenter of Carrboro, The Arts Council of Fayetteville and Cumberland County and Charlotte Arts and Science Council. She provides residencies and workshops for public, private, and charter schools throughout North Carolina.
